DISH Network for RVs:
Frequently Asked Questions

Winegard Cancellation/Non-Activation Fees:
How do I change or upgrade my programming if I’m on the road?

Creating an online account allows you to make changes anytime at www.dishnetwork.com or you can call 1-888-686-2388 to speak to a representative.

I’ve heard about HD Free for Life. Can I get that offer with the RV package?
The HD Free for Life promotion for RV customers requires a one-time HD programming upgrade fee of $99. After paying this one-time fee, you will receive HD programming at no additional monthly cost for the life of your account.

Is it true there is no commitment and no activation, disconnect, or restart fees?
Yes. There is no commitment required and no activation, disconnect, or restart fees. When you are no longer using your service you can simply stop paying your monthly bill.

When is the first payment due?
Payment for the first month’s programming is due at the time of activation.

I’m only going to be on vacation for two weeks. Can I pay for a partial month of service?
No. All payments are for 30-days of service at a time.

Can I watch HD while my vehicle is in motion?
Yes. DISH Network’s satellite technology allows customers to watch HD programming while the vehicle is moving if equipped with a compatible auto-tracking portable antenna. DISH Network is the only affordable option for in-motion HD.*

I have three TVs in my RV. Can I hook all of them up?
Yes, customers can purchase up to three 211k recievers to activate in their RV. However, this requires an antenna that can support three receivers.

Can I have a DVR?
Yes. You can add any USB 2.0 hard drive to turn your 211k into a DVR with a one-time set-up fee of $40. There are no additional monthly fees for this service.

Can I get local networks?
Yes, local networks are available in your home market. Your home market is determined based on your service address. When traveling outside of your home market, you can use an over-the-air antenna to view local stations in that area. DISH Network’s receiver technology will even allow you to import local stations into your programming guide.

I don’t have an over-the-air antenna. Can I still watch my favorite network television shows?
Distant networks will be coming soon. Check back in the near future for more information.

Is installation included?
No. Ask your dealer for information about installation and equipment costs.

I already have DISH Network at home. How can I get it for my RV?
You have two options for adding DISH to your RV. If distant networks are important to you, you will need to create a second pay-as-you-go account to be eligible for distant networks in your RV. If you prefer to use an over-the-air antenna and distant networks are not important to you, you can simply add a 211k to your existing residential account for $7 per month.
